1 out of 5 stars whats wrong with this picture   December 13, 2008
If anyone believes these gushing reviews, all strangely done within a few weeks of each other, then come this way to see the fierce egress. The only real 'review' here is the single unfavorable one from Dec 8. Did you really think you could get a usable cellphone battery, knockoff or not, for $3.50? Thats got to be close to the manufacturing cost of a decent battery. These have got to be THE WORST JUNK, and might even be dangerous to leave hooked up to a charger. Remember a few years ago when people were setting fire to their houses with exploding li-ion laptop batteries? Do you really want super cheap cellphone batteries?

The item was exactly as described. I nearly overpaid significantly at the local store. Thank goodness for Amazon!

1 out of 5 stars Cheap Imitation   December 8, 2008
I knew that something was up when I could order a battery for $2 that normally costs $40. However, I put my reservations aside and thought to myself, "Well, if it gets the job done, how much do I really care if it is a knock off?"

Oh, but it doesn't get the job done. The battery can only hold a charge for approximately 12 hours. Or, if you use the phone even once, the battery will last as little at three hours. Plus, when the battery starts to loose its charge, it dies quickly. Then I'll typically have a two minute warning before the phone will shut off and won't start again until the battery is recharged. Furthermore, the battery isn't completely compatible with the phone's software, so error messages regularly appear.
